I tried swapping the driver seat from an 2014 F10 to a 320I and when I connected it there was no power. Can anyone please advise me what to do?
You're putting a seat from a 5 into a 3. They are completely different. I hope you have a full wiring schematic and a degree in automotive engineering. What made you think that would be a straight swap?

I misspoke. I swapped a 320i seat with an F30 seat. Shouldn’t it fit
Physically it will fit, as the body is the same, so mounting holes and all that will line up. However, depending on how the cars we’re equipped from the factory, the wire harnesses may be totally different. There might be modules that one has and the other doesn’t. There could be fuses, or relays for one car that aren’t in place in the other.
I think you may have mistakenly taken on a bigger project than you thought. What exactly were you trying to accomplish? Adding heated seats or power seats? Swapping from non-sport to sport seats?

My intent was to upgrade the seat and to add lumbar support

I already had power seats. I wanted added comfort and lumbar support
The only way I would know of is to get wiring diagrams of both and start comparing. Do they have the same modules, connectors, etc?

We ended up swapping out the control modules and it worked! The only thing that we weren’t able to do is to connect the lumbar support because the old module didn’t have the connection. Do you know if there is a way to chronic lumbar support?
