Hey everyone. I've got a 2014 F34 335xi GT / N55. Was cruising on the highway the other day and got the "Drivetrain Malfunction" warning and the car went in to limp home mode with barely any power.
I checked codes with Carly and got these:
108F01 - Intake system: suspected leak between turbocharger and intake valves
120308 - Boost pressure control, plausibility: pressure too low
102001 - Air mass plausibility: air mass too high
Finally, I looked under the hood and found exactly the problem. However, I don't know what I'm looking at. I think this is the charge pipe that needs to be replaced? Is this a job for the dealership or potential DIY?

Thanks in advance.

I cannot see the pictures, so will have to go off of experience here. You could use another hosting site, and link the pictures here.
Normally what you are describing will be a vacuum leak, if you can see a busted, split or otherwise bad hose or charge pipe, then yes that will be the issue. How DIY savvy are you?

You won't be able to post pics until you have a higher post count. You can host them elsewhere, and hot-link them though.
Based on the faults and what you described, I'm going to say the charge pipe broke off at the throttle body. It's pretty common. But if it's like I think it is, get ready for a battle. The pipe routes under the AC compressor and the compressor has to be unbolted and moved to get the pipe in and out.
