Hi All,
I have a 1991 bmw e30 128i manual. I have been driving it about daily for the past month or two and in the past week the clutch pedal has been getting progressively loser. this morning it was extremely difficult to get the car into any gear and when sat still, when I eventually get it into first the car will start to roll forwards slightly.
To me it sounds like the clutch isn't disengaging the gears correctly. Is there any adjustment I can do to the pedal/cable etc to restore the ability to change the gears again?
Many thanks
I'm not familiar with the 128i, but your symptoms suggest the master / slave cylinder that operate the throw out bearing on the clutch is failing. Replace both at the same time. And while your in there, add in the hose between the two. Its a bit fiddly, so do it once.

I have never even heard of a 128i. its not an e30, that's for sure
No e30s again.
