Had to pull a wheel off a 530i to get a caliper. Of course the lug bolts were tight as hell.
My Porter Cable impact didn't do it and of course my breaker bar was in my car. Had to use the Armstrong method and a ratchet to get 4 of the 5 loose, for the 5th I had to borrow a breaker bar from a guy that asked to borrow a phillips from me. That little extra bit of leverage was what I needed to get the bolt loose.
The moral of the story is get a second, long, 1/2" drive breaker bar and keep it in my go bag. Or buy a Impact with more "round spherical objects" . Mine is rated at 330 ft/lbs but it does not like BMW lug bolts.

You couldn’t find a lug wrench in any of the cars at the yard??
Hope you saw my edit to your 1st post above.

Funny that you should mention this. I'm assuming you have the "fuel" version which I think is brushless.
Being the fool I sometimes am I neglected to undo the crank bolt on an M50 before pulling it and removing the head. My brush motor M18 rattled away until the battery died. A friends 20v IR rattled away long enough to heat the socket. Another friend's M18 ("fuel") brushless with 9a battery shook it few times then zipped it right off.
When I bought my brushed M18 I scoffed at the "fuel" version. Lesson learned.
If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark Donohue
Hell yeah. Shoot, I’ve even tried it on lug nuts of an 18 wheeler, it just laughs at it and says “ Is that all?”.
