New to forum and to BMW. Sorry if this has come up before, but haven’t figured out the search completely yet. Fuel gauge reads only 1/4 to 1/2 a tank between empty and full. Fuel pump, level sensors, and tank have all been replaced. Just bought car a month ago and my wife loves it. Just need to fix the issue. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
I wonder if the instrument cluster needs to be coded correctly? (as in someone had messed with the settings inside)
It would help to know how much fuel the car thinks it has inside it has via diagnostics.

Does the gauge cluster have a red dot (a red LED actually) in the area where it shows the time? If so the cluster has been swapped.
Russ, is there a gauge cluster test in the E9x like in the E46?
