Windshield washer

The windshield washer fluid light came on in my 2007 3.0 coupe. So I added fluid; it was quite low. But the light won’t go out. And now the fluid barely reaches the windshield. Any ideas?

Do you think the pump is bad ? its under the washer reservoir tank

I had similar problem and the issue turned out to be a clogged filter. There is a small plastic filter in the bottom of the reservoir. After years of use Gunk builds up and coats the filter which will not allow fluid to be pumped out of the tank

I had the pump go bad(twice)

Turns out the pump was going bad (leaking).

That's a good thing.. turns out of all the parts to replace, that at under $20 is a bargain..
