Is there a link to get INPA ISTA for a 2009 X5 Diesel? The Quick 99 did not work. Thanks

Download standard tools first, then rheingold. Then google how to install it.

Thanks. Any idea if it can test the fuel pump relay that is known to fail in these X5's? I've got a new HPFP, new starter, plenty of battery, still no start. fuel pressure regulator was checked by dealership, hopefully I can confirm this type of stuff with the software? Sorry for the newbie questions
I'm not 100% sure but I would imagine it could. Going back to your issue, have you bled your fuel line? I had a similar issue couple of weeks ago after fuel filter replacement. I let the car sit overnight after the change and it wouldn't start next day. Did bleeding procedure with ISTA but still nothing. I finally loosed fuel supply line to first cylinder while engine was cranking and it started withing 2-3 seconds while spraying some diesel and air out of the line.

well the Newtis says to just run Ignition On for a minute, I've heard other folks saying that you cycle Ignition On and Off multiple times without starting, but I've done that maybe 20 times and nothing, also don't hear the pump under the seat even running (quietly) as I believe I should be with that method. Engine bay has started to smell a little like fuel, might not be a good thing
Check for fuel leaks first since you said it smells like diesel under the hood. Then I would do bleeding with ISTA. If that doesn't help then you should try bleeding it manually by having someone crank the engine as you loosen the injector 1, you can try loosening more but others are much harder to get to without potentially braking return lines. Also, when you select bleeding with ISTA you should hear low pressure pump working.

FWIW, the Bimmergeeks' install does not seem to include coverage for the USA M57 DDE.
