Trying to get them off to replace them, and they're not coming easy...

No luck. Sprayed it with some brake cleaner just in case there was some gunk in there.
I was sure this would work - the pliers aren't seated on the hard line, and pressing fully with them while pushing the hose in. No job...
I ordered the Lisle 37300 from Amazon, but they won't be here until Sunday and it doesn't look like anyone local carries it in-stock.
I have this kit, but there's not enough space to get the tool to the fitting.
BMW makes a special tool for those. It's a pair of pliers with U-shaped fittings on the end to squeeze the releasing part into the hose. They work like a charm.
I've had luck using an open end wrench. Those hoses always take some effort, but I've never had one beat me yet.
