I'm in the process of moving my convertible hydraulic pump to the trunk. I've got my motor back to working after a thorough cleaning. I'm try to hook up the hydraulic lines back to the pump. When I unhooked them the crush washers went everywhere. I've got them back but not quite sure of the order that they go back on. Should it be one washer in between the two lines and one against the base. Where can I get replacement washers. Thank you and sorry for the length of the post. I'm about done.
did you already check in the ETK drawings? http://bmwfans.info/
Shogun tricks and tips for the E32 series are HERE!
Looks like they are not available individually, which you should try to procure.
Typically, under the head, one between the two banjo fittings, one between the fitting and the housing. These should be new and pretty low torque, I would imagine.

Thank you it looks like washers are available in large sets of mixed sizes on Ebay and Amazon. I only need 6 at the most I believe. There is one under the head, smaller than the other. Where I messed up was, putting one between the two and one in addition under the bolt head ,but none under the bolt to pump base. If I get this leak fixed ,I hope my top will work.
They have a repair kit with washer size. bmw 54347114081. Can you see if those are the washer you are looking for.. I'm not at home but I think I have this kit.

I've seen this kit on some diagrams. Kinda overpriced I believe. I rearranged the washers I have, and it may have solved my leak. I'm now moving the top back and forth manually to get fluid in the system and adding to the reservoir. I've gotten some movement using the switch the more I add the fluid. Thank you for your input. I'm in no hurry to finish, just hope the end result is a functioning automatic top.
I'm sure those washer are generic parts you can find in all hardware store..
I had no luck at 2 hardware stores or auto parts . I used the ones I had. Pump is working good going down but needs a little help closing.
Are the OE washers aluminum (crush) washers or copper as shown in the ‘linked’ kit?

I really don't think they are actually crush washers per se, like oil drain plug washers. They are really just flat copper.

Flat non crush copper
I need to look for my kit.. I bought it like 2 years ago and just took off the convertible last sat... lol.. They kinda look copper from memory but I need to find my repair kit to make sure
