I recently replaced my intake hose because it had a few cracks in it, but before I could do that I needed the money so I just drove with my MAF unplugged, car rang great. Only when I would come to a complete stop or coming to a complete stop my rpms would jump up to like 1500 and back down over and over and the engine would rev constantly, well after I fixed the intake hose it still does it. But I have my MAF plugged in. also before I fixed the intake boot, my car wouldn’t stay on for longer than like 10 seconds, UNLESS I unplugged the MAF. I also cleaned the MAF recently. but I’m wondering what could that be ? Brake booster? MAF? CCV? I have an 2005 325i manual
You have multiple vacuum leaks. The intake needs to be smoke tested.
