I was wondering if anyone has the right links that’ll lead me to the right fuel cap for my 1999 Z3 2.5? I’ve been searching and so far I’ve gotten ones that don’t fit. I’m also curious to know if I can get advice on any modifications that I should do to my car to make it better on overall performance, reliability, etc.

I see the problem with the PN in RealOEM. It is for the locking cap which is NLA, I guess because it has to be coded to receive your key:

I googled and several popped up, so I looked at Pelican's cap which is "Genuine BMW" and nonlocking:

eBay also had several like that, too.

You need to get the factory cap not an aftermarket cap
Like the cap from Pelican in Post #2.

X2. Just about all BMW cars more than 10 years old uses the same cap. Performance increases for a 2.5 (or any Z3 engine) will lead you down a rabbit hole. How much are you willing to spend?

$25/HP So, about the only thing left to me is to:How much are you willing to spend?
1. Performance Tune (off-the-shelf) flash
2. Fogg intake
Unless someone knows something else?

I just rotated the nozzle on the airbox 180 deg. to face down and cut it off a bit to get closer to a uniform 3" cross-section. Fogg cuts a new hole in the bottom, 4" in diameter and uses 4" tubing to get to the cavity under the driver's side headlight. It sounds like a winter project to me...Didn't you already do that? Cut a hole in your airbox and made a scoop below?
