I live in the mid-Atlantic and just purchased a 2019 X3 xdrive30i from Florida equipped with OEM 21" "M" style 701M wheels with Bridgestone Alenza runflats.....275/35 on rear and 245/40 on front. Although this wheel/tire package looks and handles great, I understand these tires aren't suitable for Mid-Atlantic winters. Is this correct? If so, what performance all season tires are available for these wheels? Or would it be best to get a separate wheel/tire package for winter driving? If so, can I use 18" wheels with the recommended 225/60 tires or would 19" wheels be a better option with wider tires? Trying to stay away from 20-21 wheels due to cost. Thanks for input/advice.
Go to www.tirerack.com to find out about the tires. A quick google shows that they are ok for winter driving, but Tire Rack reviews will give you the whole story.
