I merged various of your posts from other model forums, pls post in the X5 forum. This is model specific and it does not much help if you ask in the E36 and E34 forum.
go in the ETK to parts group vehicle trim>>>sealing caps/plugs, there might be rubber caps if that is what is broken, I cannot clearly see it. I assume it is just a rubber cap to keep dust out and protect from moisture.
    caps/plugs examples on a BMW X5 3.0d E70 SAV Europe M57N2 http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E7...ling_cap_plug/
Or is it a metal part, a screw with nut? Difficult to see. If so, then you need to find a fitting part somewhere else, as the wiper system comes as one part and no single parts.

It looks like it is just a rubber cap on bolt/nut of the wiper linkage to protect against moisture. This one also does not have it, maybe also lost https://www.pelicanparts.com/techart...eplacement.htm
Easiest is you go to the next hardware shop /DIY shop and find a fitting rubber cap which fits. In case a bolt/nut is broken, also find one in a hardware shop, BMW only sells the complete mechanism.

I had the same failure on my E39, but you had to buy that arm, complete with the bushing that failed. Looking on RealOEM, you can't buy just the arm, you have to get a whole linkage:

    https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=61_1342

But looking on UK ebay, you can get a whole wiper mechanism for as little as £10.80 shipped!

First, i apologize for asking in various forum all because been searching high and low in google search, query with Pelican, RealOEM and actual BMW agent,
non could provide a solution. Asking in BMW might give some light.

    Once again my sincere apology.

What I just dont understand, the BLACK item as i pointed in the picture which i uploaded is just a Rubber Bushing and a Cap (sort like a clip Cap). In all the BMW parts for the Wiper mechanism one
can get the parts number and drawing but somehow this part either BMW forgot or just being ignore.

Just sometling like the one in the picture below (its for mercedes)

Thank you all for the support and suggestion.

    Regards,

Questions about the X5 are best asked in the X5 subforum, not the E34 subforum.

Most posts now merged here from various forum on same subject. Thanks, now I understand, I assume it is just a protection cap against dust, dirt, moisture, and maybe it keeps grease inside. BMW does not have it as single item, so find something in a hardware shop /DIY shop. Do not know the size of the bolt.
Example: Bolt Covers Screw Caps, Assortment Plastic Nut kits with Storage Box, Nylon Insert Locknut for Matching Screws or Bolts, 145 Pcs Black M4 M5 M6 M8 M10 M12 https://www.amazon.com/Assortment-Pl...2566fc_p_3_t_p

    Dear Shogun,

Thank you kind Sir for your assistance.

Now am going to share to ALL BMW owners. Been searching high and low for the Wiper linkage rod BUSHING. Been contacting companies like Pelican, EuroParts, RealOEM but they too claimed not to have such bushing except one have to purchase/ buy the whole Wiper Linkage set which for me is unnecessary and price is kind too expensive.

Finally luck was on my side, i found a company that specialise in producing busihing for all type of cars/vehicles or even to customer specifications..company name White Engineering, here is their weblink : http://wiperrepairs.com/wiper-bushings/

    (As for my BMW x5 3.0i E53 Y2003 Right Hand Drive : the Bushing size is 12-A D12mm d15mm Thickness 2mm)

    May this help others.

    Regards,
