    E65 Parking brake

    Hi guys,
I got a problem with my parking brake on 2002 E65 745i. The gear was broken so I replaced it with metal one. I cleared all the error codes with both INPA and ISTA but I can't get it to work. After clearing initial errors(006030 EMF:Mechanical travel) it worked once ie. it tightened the brake and I got error again, this time 006031 EMF: Mechanism jammed. Cleared that one also and same thing happens - it goes to the opposite position, I get the same error(006031) and it stops working.
The interesting thing is that the parking brake works mechanically both ways(after clearing the error after each movement). If it is tightened the car wont move at all in gear(you can feel the rear end going down), I clear the error and it releases completely up to the lower stop in the actuator.
I checked the cables they are moving freely at least a couple of cm when i pull them with pliers. I have also tried clicking the button 4 times. Is there any calibration or something similar that needs to be done? The only thing that comes to my mind is that i got the wrong gear as there is 39 and 40 tooth option(I got 40) but I guess the wrong one wouldn't fit, or maybe I'm wrong? I don't know which one was there originally because someone(not so smart) opened it and removed the pieces before I got the car. Also I saw on some videos that there is a small red plastic clip on the original gear which I also don't have but I don't really see the purpose of it except to prevent metal on metal contact.
The error code is in attachment.
    Any ideas?

    THX!

    SOLVED

Put the new 39 teeth gear in but still no luck. So I tried everything that came to my mind and finally one thing worked. I was stupid enough to put el. motor cover wrong. It looked the same but it's not. Here is the pic of how it should be.
