    New old-style Recaro seats

Pardon me if this is already common knowledge, but I just came across this from Recaro and did not know that they had 'old' style seats available:

I suppose that you would have to pick all your options and order from a dealer to really know what the price is, but I will bet that they are at least $1k per seat.

I too am very interested in the Recaro Classic Line... I picked up the phone and called Recaro USA. I was informed the that USA intro was delayed from this Fall to early next year due to pandemic. No word as to pricing yet... might be worth the wait.

Those are nice looking seats! Would be a nice option instead of purchasing and having to completely rebuild a torn-up set

USA (and others) Dealers are identified on the site, use the change language function, then search for Dealers.

I always thought the appeal was the have the recaros that said "BMW e21" on the frame? If you're going to do this, you could just buy a recaro from any old car.

Maybe that's the appeal for 2002 owners poaching our poor cars for the seats

I bought my 1981 320IS for $900 missing the transmission, missing the differential, and missing the Recaros. Poached for a 1973 2002 project.

So now I have a 320IS with the correct trunk lid (no 320i badge) and the sport steering wheel. But nothing else. Large IS tool kit missing most all of the tools.

So what did you use off the 320i for your 2002?

Full reclining OEM spec seats in very low production volume for a niche market? These are gonna be more like $2k a piece. Probably more.

I do not have a 2002. It's the guy I bought the stripped e21 from that had the 2002.
