M54 Valve Cover Question

Are all M54 Valve Cover the same? I have a 2.5 Z4 2005 and want to replace the valve cover.
Realoem states for my year vehicle part# is 11127512839 but all I’m finding on ebay are part# 11127512840. Are there any differences in these with two numbers off? And when I plug in the 11127512840 part# on Realoem it cannot find such part. TIA.

I have a ‘04 3.0i and I have the same PN that you have for my valve cover.

I did a search of ebay …. With that PN

All M54 valve cover gasket kits are identical

11127512839 is not a valve cover gasket kit, it's the VALVE COVER and gasket

The GASKET KIT is 11120030496

You also need 15 of the rubber washers, part # 11121437395

Use hylomar blue or reizoplast blue! Works so well

Yes, don't forget the sealant at the half-moons in the back and where the timing cover meets the head

I think the question was about valve covers. So no there are two different version. The one with the square coil packs (11 12 1 432 928 upto 09/2002) and the one with the round coil packs (11 12 7 512 839 from 09/2002).

When I look at google for the part number you supplied 11127512840 it looks like the post 09/2002 valve cover.
