New 1984 733i owner here! + WHeel Offset question

    Hey guys,

I've decided to purchase a project to add to my BMW family. I am proud to be an owner of a 1984 BMW 733i. It's a project and needs a lot of work done which I am documenting for a possible YouTube channel.

I have pretty much everything handled aside from the wheels. It's currently sitting on BC Racing coilovers (super comfy ride) and it's lowered a bit (not slammed).

I'm looking to put in 18" wheels for a very aggressive look (or 17"). If anyone in here has a lowered E23, if you don't mind posting photos of your ride height and wheels, as well as share the wheel specs (diameter, width, offset), that would be awesome. I am not a huge fan of spacers, but recommendations for setups welcome.

    Thank you in advance!

On custom Coilovers. You can fit some pretty wide and low offset wheels in the e23.

    17x8.5 et13 with 5/10mm spacers

    17x8 et20 rear has 15mm spacers

    I had E38 M parallels on e23's with no spacers. 18x8 front ET13 18x9.5 rear ET25. 235/40/18 front tires 265/35/18 rear. On Dinan/Mtech lowering springs.

Hey Steve, do you have photos of this? Does it sit flush? Tucked?

I had to trim 1/8" off the top of one rear wheel arch due to slight rubbing. That could just have been my car, it definitely had some Bondo in it.
