I've had a fault code "Service Required since XX/20XX," but the only service that the car needs is a "vehicle inspection" and an "emission inspection."
Is there a way to clear these without going to the dealership? Can Carly/Bimmerlink clear them? Foxwell 510T Elite? Indy shop? Dealership seems to want $500+ every time a car comes through the door.

Emissions inspection you just type in the new date using the idrive controller
Service inspection you can reset via the cluster.

Had to do this on the F-45 and it only took a couple of minutes, even made a YouTube video on it.
