Hi, guys I need help.... I have BMW X3 E83 2.5i 2004 I recently bought from someone but I've having issues with rough idling and misfire cylinder 6 and sensor control bank 1 and 2 not active reported on OBD scanner.
I recently bought and changed all O2 sensors changed the rubber boot after MAF because it had a crack in the collar, I installed new VANOS seals checked vacuum leaks but still getting same errors as before.
Does anyone know which electrical connector each O2-sensor is connected to or from:
Bank 1 Sensor 1
Bank 1 Sensor 2
Bank 2 Sensor 1
Bank 2 Sensor 2
I need help with O2 sensors wiring routing diagram if anyone can assist I have a feeling the wires could have been swapped.
Does the B1 S1 and B1 S2 front O2 sensors connect on top off the engine under the top panel cover, but to which electrical connector does the cables connect to?
The rear O2 sensors B2 S1 and B2 S2 connected under the car after the CAT, but to which electrical connector do they route to and connect to?
Any help I will greatly appreciate.
Thanks
You should have installed the OEM maf sensor ... aftermarket Chinese made maf only make things worst. Privious owner may have cheaped out. Best to check it out...how long have you owned the car? Did you say?

Reviving an old thread....
Did you ever find out which O2 sensors plug into which connector?
I recently bought a BMW X3 and I have an annoying check engine light for a O2 sensor and I think the previous owner may have swapped plugs.
