    OBD2 vs. MOST port???

updates are really slow with obd2 connection, someone was telling me to use the most port for updates to be applied faster, I've looked everywhere I dont see any other ports?
Its a 2006 BMW 550I, if someone could help me locate this port I would be really greatful!!!

EDIT: I found the port, but could someone direct me to what kinda cable that I need? I cant update my CCC unit because the car is auto shutting off because it's taking so long to update.

EDIT#2 For anyone that'd like to know it's and ICOM-B cable.

You try keeping the seatbelt fastened, the ignition on (engine off), and a battery charger hooked up?

After I updated the ECU with the proper vin and updated it I never had the issue again. Currently still working on getting all the new parts matched with proper vin and updated. Afterwards I'll likely do a post with the several issues I've had as well as how I fixed them, along with some videos I've discovered on youtube that helped me sort through this mess.

Having the same issue again, can I update the CCC module with the car running? even with a battery maintainer the damn battery died. This is literally the last actual module I have to program in and it's being a pain in the ass to take care of.

The bmw battery maintainer used during programming is proving power to support the car while it’s on and they are more than the average charger

Thanks for the advice, I will check into this. The battery maintainer that I have isn't sufficient enough, I made it all the way to 70% and the maintainer gave out, wasn't reliable enough to keep the battery charged.

Use a second car, with the engine running, jumped to your car. You don’t want to run your car when you’re trying to update/program modules.

Also try to ensure all unnecessary systems are off before coding.
DRLs, auto-headlights, fan/AC system, radio, iDrive screen, etc, are all battery killers.
I had a 0.25A battery tender that didn't keep up, but my 1.25A does:

Also ensure you've been charging a few hours at least before trying.

Everything is off other than the Idrive screen, it comes on/off during the update, as well as the small dash lights. I've not attempted again, but I'm going to this weekend when I have time.
