S54 track car - what rod bearings?

I finally pulled the trigger on a 2002 S54 for my E36 track car.
First thing I want to is replacing the rod bearings. As it's a <2003 with M11 bolts, I'm planning to re-use the existing bolts. For the bearings, I'm planning to get the BE-Clevite Rod Bearing Set.
Is any of that a bad idea as it's a track car? I.e. should I replace the bolts or get coated bearings (like VAC) instead?

    Thanks,
    Tim

There's really no prove which bearing is better over others, besides the claimed of each bearing benefit. Re-using bearing bolt is a big no no, they are stretch yield bolts.

even if it's the <2003 M11? I thought those were okay to re-use?

If you had the earlier bolts they are ok to re-use. ARP if used correctly with stretch gauge is also an option.

I use use oem bmw from fcp. There hasnt been enough data on the WPC treatment s54 bearings to indicate there is any advantage.

A lot of guys on m3forum seem to have switched to ACL bearings for cost (~$110). Lang racing uses them on their builds. Check them out.

that option sounds appealing. For a track car, I guess I should go with the .001 Extra Oil Clearance version?

Ping Lang. I'm not sure what they'd recommend along with maybe a kit for the oil pump.
