New N63 installed 2012 650i, power and exhaust decreased

New N63 installed in my 2012 650i M pkg (manual) by bmw dealer. Loved my car, the power, torque and exhaust roar. 250 miles into my new motor, the exhaust sounds 50% less. There is no roar when I start it up, drive through tunnels or downshift. Even my neighbors have commented on the less roar. The power and torque feel weaker too, although I am driving it soft breaking in the engine for first 1,200 miles. But I am concerned about the responsiveness already. New N63 is part number 11-00-2-466-938.
Engine, gasket set cylinder head, clutch, flywheel, few hoses and filtered air ducts replaced.
Any thoughts??

Don't break it in easy, push it gradually into higher rpm ranges, go up and down hills...

Where did this engine come from, Factory? Rebuilt? You definitely need to know.
