    Windshield washer tank loose

Noticed a bit of plastic sticking out under the car, investigated and basically the entire passenger side front fender liner is shot, it's actually broken in 3 pieces and one fell off long ago... The windshield washer fluid tank is loose and 'rotates" in its spot... Explains some noises.. I ordered a new liner and clip kit - I was wondering if there is anything *other* than the fender liner holding the bottom of the tank ? I can't guess based on having never seen it unbroken and it's not symmetrical with the driver side...

Anyone knows ? There's 2 threaded attachment points under the tank. I can see one possibly attaching to the remnants of my fender liner, the other I'm not sure... Asking in case I'm also missing a bracket or something...

Also while I'm at it - cabrio owners: the rear rattle is the plastic piece on each side of the top cover (when the top is down) that is sprung and you can push on and see the top mechanism.. How do you stop this from squeaking ? it's plastic on plastic, and I imagine it moved when the top gets dropped...

Kind of late, hopefully you've got it figured out by now. If not -

The washer fluid reservoir on my car is only secured by one hex screw on the bottom. It does go through the fender liner into a tab w/ body nut on the washer fluid reservoir.

Yes I figured out I was missing 1/2 of my undertray and fender liner ! Once I replaced it, I had a convenient mounting point for the washer tank. I had no idea since both sides aren't symmetrical ;-)

Yeah that'll do it. Glad you got it sorted.
