Got a 2002 bmw z3 sports seats. The driver top and bottoms heating element is not working. Fuse is good and power is getting to the seat, I tested with multi meter. Broke wire, or faulty heat element? If the bottom heating element had a broke wire or was no longer working that top wouldn’t work ether? Correct me if I’m wrong. Is it hard when you get the seat cover off to get It back on and it look tight? Any advise would be great thanks.

Remove your shift boot and the foam surrounding the shifter, and it'll pop out from the back. No need to pry.
