E32 735iL remote duplication

Hello,
is here a "easy" way to duplicate the remote ?
I have only one the original one from 1992. I would rather keep it in a drawer and duplicate it.
Any hints rather than going to BMW and spend $300 or so ?

visit an Automotive Locksmith and ask if he can program an aftermarket remote, locksmith supply companies have some kind of programmers like these https://www.key4.com/
no idea if that can be done on the old BMW remote version.
