Quality swirl flap deletes?

I've purchased this swirl flap delete set for my 2009 X5 35d, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

That’s a pretty low price for those critical parts. Not having any experience with a diesel, how long will it take you to install them? You need to factor that time and effort into “install or return” equation.

They usually delete swirl flaps on the M57 diesel because the design was poor and very prone to carbon buildup and eventual damage. You will lose some torque, but it's a common procedure that the M57 people do.
BMW heavily updated that system for the N47/N57 engines. I guess lesson learned?


It's just a simple plug with an o-ring, not sure what quality needs to be there as long as they seal and don't break off.
