High End Component Set and Subs

Back in 2016 I replaced the old HK speakers in my 1997 M3 with a component set from Helix. I also installed a pair of 8" open-air subs on the rear deck. I ran a Kenwood head unit and a Match MA40FX amp. The "front stage" experience was simply incomparable with the original Harman Kardon system. I ran this setup for approximately two years and then switched to a different setup. I've had the component set and subs stored in a climate controlled storage facility thinking I would use them on another car but never had so I've decided to sell them. So up for sale is the following:

- Helix P235 Precision 2-way component set including 5.25" woofers, 1" silk dome tweeters, and crossovers. Audiotec Fischer is the parent company which designs and manufacturers these speakers in Germany. The tweeters and woofers fit perfectly in the original HK locations.

- Image Dynamics ID8 subwoofers. I installed these on my rear deck in place of the original HK rear deck speakers and operated them as "free air" meaning they did not have any enclosures. The beauty of free air subs is the trunk itself acts as the enclosure so you can free up space. They can however also operate with various types of enclosures if desired. They can also simply be installed on a board withing the ski-pass location if operating as as free air.

Brand new the component set and subs were approximately $500 and $200, respectively. I'm thinking shipping will be about 50 bucks to the lower 48 and would like get a reasonable $250 for all the speakers so I'm asking $300 shipped OBO.
