    Door card?

Just curious about a good source for aftermarket door cards, especially one that have the airbag feature, for the 1999 Z3 roadster?

I don't think anyone makes aftermarket door cards. You'd be looking at finding used parts.

If you are looking for the door panel, they are still being sold, but they are not cheap -

Most parts are still available new from the dealer. Expensive though: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...k/51412496753/

Yeah man, I guess what im referring to are the aluminum track panels, just wasn't sure who all where selling them, mine needed some tlc, due to torn tabs, but in any event, I got my passenger panel back on, but the plastic piece that goes behind the speaker decided to come loose, while trying to get it down into the rubber slot, totally bummed me out, I really enjoy working on my roady, but not $1,500 worth for a door panel. So im kicking the idea around of either the tack style panels, with a hole cut out for the airbag, or taking another stab at mine. decisions decisions LOL.

I was thinking that http://www.donewhenimdead.com/garage?category=Z3 had the black anodized ones, but I don't see them listed. You might contact them to see if they'll do a special order, as I'm sure they'd still have the pattern...

Was the source for these someone else...?

I spotted some nice black panels, that had the airbag feature, but never thought much about it, I think it was them, but did also notice they wasn't listed, my 6' frame would appreciate a little more arm room lol.

Yes sir< I got my eye on them, also checking out some aluminum panels, but any event, I asked the better half, if I could swing 1500 bucks for a new door panel, and much to my chagrin, ive already been in the dog house twice this this car, the third time will be a charm, LOL

I would never spend $1500 for a door panel at this stage...

Why not just find a good USED door panel for, idk, maybe $150? And save... $1350

I hear ya, like I mentioned, im kicking some ideas around, weighing the pro's and con's, just didn't realize how much more expensive parts got, once I started with the interior. Figured id post, to see if somebody would throw a few points to ponder.

There are a bunch of door panels on Ebay or the cheapest option might be to find a Z3 at a https://www.lkqpickyourpart.com/ yard.
