I’m having an issue reading my EWS using an AK90. The device reads the EWS but the VIN number and mileage is always wrong. There’s a few different characters in the VIN but the majority match and the mileage is always wrong.
I stupidly didn’t notice this the first time and tried to code a new key. I selected a new slot and then tried to write back to the EWS but the write failed. It was only then I realised the VIN was corrupt and now my original key will not start the car.
Has anyone else had this issue and more importantly do they know what I need to do to get the car started again?
I’ve tried to sync the EWS in INPA and it works but still no start.

Your tool is probably faulty and now it corrupted the EWS data. It will need a complete do over now with a proper tool.
