Hey everyone. This is my first post on this board and I’m looking for some advice. My friend has had a 2014 535d M Sport for about 3 years now. He let me drive it for 4 days while he was out of town and I fell in love with the car. Now I’m looking for a 535 (doesn’t have to be a diesel although I drive a lot) preferably 2014-2016. I would love to find one with the M sport package but they don’t seem to be plentiful in my part of the United States.

Are the 2014-2016 years good models? Are they reliable? (I’m coming over from Nissan) How much should keep in savings for maintenance? Diesel or Gas? Thanks in advance.

unless you're capable of doing your own maint. and repair (as much as possible), I would buy a 3 series, they are much more reliable and cheaper to maintain than the F10. imo
