For the guys using Centre console USB port. Where are you buying your cables from? As mine will only charge. Won't let the connected drive have access. As comes up charging only

Have you reset iDrive? Press the volume control on the dash for 30 seconds. This forces iDrive to reboot. Also, try another smartphone.

This is what I get. I've tried setting to Transfer Files as default but won't work. It reverts to charging only. Plugged in a different phone and was fine
