Had a rough idle when the engine was cold awhile back. Turned out to be a crumbling idle control valve hose where it meets the TB boot, which was repaired with a bit of tape.
A week ago I replaced the old icv hose with a new OE one and now the car refuses to run, immediately dying start up. I've checked and rechecked all hose and electrical connections to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated...note: car has ASC TB delete.

Need to accomplish a smoke test, sounds like a gross air leak.

That was my thought, so I've double checked the TB boot to TB, TB to HMF and ICV hose connections at both ends and everything looks okay. Guess a smoke test is next...can you give me a quick tutorial?

I wanna say the ICV may have fallen out of place when you were messing with the hoses.
Go all the way back to the ICV, put it back together snug.
Do you have a CE light? Any stored codes?

I always forget to plug in the brake booster when I take it off.
I'm in agreement - sounds like a big vac leak close to the throttle (like the brake booster line i always forget 🤣.
Yeah, I'm going to guess the ICV popped out from the manifold...sounds like a major vac leak

Manifold side of the ICV dislodged...probably happened when I was yanking on the ICV/TB hose in the process of swapping it out...
