Hey guys I'm new to the forums and I am looking for some help. I got my 95 525 late November of 2019, it had been sitting for 9 months. It had a really bad fire in and underneath the dash which burned a lot of wiring. When I fixed the wiring and got the car running, the fuel gauge was always stuck on empty no matter how much gas is in the tank. I saw the gas tank was leaking so I also patched it up to see if it fixed the gauge problem and it did not. My guess is a stuck/bad level sending unit, or it could be the actual gauge itself or something similar. If any of you guys experienced this or know the issue I would greatly appreciate your help!

Test continuity of the wiring. I bet it's broken somewhere.
