I have the parts to convert a M Coupe or Roadster to a 6 speed transmission. These include a Euro E36 M3 6 speed trans with 65k miles, rear mounting bracket, a Rogue Engineering shift carrier and shifter, and a used driveshaft core for shortening. This transmission bolts in without any change to the flywheel or clutch. The price is $2500 plus shipping.
That seems pretty high especially since the driveshaft doesnt even come shortened...
Its like a $1k trans at best...

If you can find an e36 or e46 manual 6 speed S6S-420G with good gears that isn't an SMG conversion for $1000 then I will take two of them please.
I think we bought these in 15 years ago for around $2500 without the extra stuff.
Driveshaft shortening was about $100.
Assuming the gears are good, this is a good deal.
White is Right, Steel Grey is OK, but Estoril is the only color that truly matters.

They got a website now!
I got a wooden crate with a used driveshaft one time and I have been shipping the up there and back for a while.
I have 4 coupes and 4 6 speed conversions.
I am seriously considering making the 5 speeds into table legs for my pool table.
That would free up some space in the garage. The press car's tranny leaks a little though, I think it needs new seals. I pulled the tranny around 200k.

Bump - A new BMW lighted 6 speed gearshift knob is also included (just like the factory 5 speed one but with the 6 speed pattern).

Bump - this is still available.
Photos? Part # for the gear box? I assume this works with the stock brace?
Nope, you need the euro brace, and it bolts in about 6 inches behind the 5 speed brace.

Hmmm, PM me your contact info. My brother was just bitching about how he hates the 5 speed in his overpriced E36 M3.
