Fuel pump itself is easy to swap out, but the issue you are going to run into is finding the plastic bits and nipples in good condition on a used pump.

I have two bad pumps, both failed the housings and not the actual pump. The pump worked great to dump fuel on the ground.

You would be better off using the one you have or buying a new one.

Thanks for the tip, mpire. I wouldn't have imagined the actual assembly going bad. But that makes sense.
I replaced my pump not too long ago due to its failing pump. The irony of it is that I sold it to a guy doing something similar at the time.
