Hello all, so recently my secondary air pump has died. Instead of spending the money, however much that might be, to fix it. Ive come to the conclusion that I'll just delete it. Where I'm located doesn't care about emissions so it's really no bother to me. I was wondering if I could use PaSoft 1.4 to tell the computer that it doesn't exist anymore. I unfortunately don't have INPA, but I did use PaSoft to program my car for the manual swap I did. Any info is greatly appreciate, thanks!

More effort and cost to delete it than to replace it with a good used one. Less than $60 I would think.

It's only about $30 for the parts to delete it. Why would I pay $60 for a used part that might just break again instead of getting rid of it for much cheaper? If I'm gonna replace it I'd get a new part, not to mention the pump and valve can fail separately and that's more money. OP, did you end up deleting it? What did you do about the vacuum line that comes out of the valve?
I haven't made my way around to doing anything about it yet. I plan to just delete it. Then have it coded out when I go to get my car flashed to work with the manual tranny swap I did. As for the vacuum line, the valve on my car isn't vacuum operated so I don't have the vacuum line. If you do delete yours you can just buy a rubber plug of some kind and plug the outlet on the back of the intake manifold that the line runs from. I don't see a point in buying a new one for it to just break again down the road.
