PLX M300 issue
I've had the PLX M300 setup for 15 years without ever a hickup. I love the simplicity of this unit too. It has the gauge, the sensor control module, and the lambda sensor.
The problem I'm having is my gauge essentially no longer seems to work. I get a very faint "r" followed by "c" and then "h". These three letter just go in a loop. The lettering is actually very faint.
The car still runs like a dream, but I wanted to get thoughts on whether it was the sensor, control unit, or the gauge itself. I figure if it was the sensor, I would get a reading anyways. So, its the gauge or control unit at this point I'm thinking. Since this unit has long been discontinued, thinking of going with a new unit.
Thoughts?
Can't seem to delete this. Not sure why I posted before at least looking at it.
It was a weak power connection at the control unit. Not sure if it shifted or what, but works fine now.
I will say in the process, my black tweeter ring decided to fail. This Florida heat is killing this car by death by 1000 cuts!
