Yes sir. Technica also sells their kit. I find TRM to be way more responsive.

Nick G is still tuning. He doesn't deal with customers directly you will have to go through CES or Max PSI. Nick is a one of a kind tuner and hes the only reason i haven't gone standalone.

I've done N/A FBO, Euro 3.2 swap, ES Twinscrew, and the TT stg1 has by far been the best/most fun configuration. Ironically, it has also been the most reliable thing about my E36.

Sometimes the kits pop up used, but if that's not an option the natural path is to go with the CES kit. TRM tuning will never be as complete as NickG's work.

+1 - I had a TT stage 2 (60-1), for 350-400WHP and quick spool, it's a great setup, and it's linear power, like oem. not crazy dyno numbers that kick in all between 3500-4500rpm..

Nick's tuning is really what makes the kit as the mechanicals, while reliable, are way out dated now. You can assemble a Steedspeed manifold and modern turbo (EFR, GTX, or G series) that will absolutely blow the original 60-1 away in all aspects. I just sold many of the remnants of my kit on Ebay for $900 without MAF, tune, and IC tubing.

I miss the kind of trust i had in my car when it was Nick tuned.

For this reason ive been talking to John/CES who has been talking to Nick.

The plan is to get my car to NC to have CES dial it in and dyno with Nick remoting in.

The annoying thing is I sold off my 803 MAF for 22RPD and need to get another 803 in time.

Does Nick still use the 803 with supercharger tunes?

Yeah. Spoke to John today. Nick can tune for my 22RPD maf if I send it to him in advance. That's kind of a headache. So I'm goimg back to the 803. The more my car moves from 22RPD back to Nick, the happier I am.

Not to dig up this old debate, But Someone had mentioned that I could tune my own ECU now. I thought I had saved a link with the guidance to do so, but for some reason I can't find it. Could someone provide the information please? Thanks.

    Sharkedit ?

Just kidding, seriously I have seen alot moving to ECUmaster EmuBlack lately, seem a good alternative and good options for this platform..

But I have to say my NickG tune stage 2 / stage 3 was perfect for over 10 years.. (sold the car)

even Conforti was accessing someone else's (BMW) Intellectual Property,

Thanks for this, I'll look into those for sure. I also have been running the TT tune without issue for years now. The problem is, I'd like to make some small adjustments, and NickG has seemingly abandoned the business.

Only the few elite have access to Nick G. CES, and Max Psi/Bimmer Clinic.
