Help with my 06 750i

I changed the battery but did not register it in time... took it to a shop registered the battery but the car went in to limp mode and now will not start. Left the battery disconnected for 45 minutes to try and reset and nothing... it will go into the 2 position but not start... Any ideas??

could be the battery not at 100%. i'd disconnect the battery again but give it a full charge before trying to start the car.

Scan for fault codes. Don't just guess at it.
