so i just got my first bmw as a gift but has a down fall it has a issue starting up and once it get started it runs for a few then dies what could my issue be. i already replaced fuel pump, spark plugs, new battery, fuel filter and intake manifold runner control valve. so now im stumped yes im new to the bmw scene but fascinated by them and looking to learn more about them....

The first step in diagnosing a problem is to scan the engine computer (DME in BMWspeak) for codes. Then post them.

Don't throw money at the car. Have it diagnosed properly by a professional if you're not up to the task yourself.
