Replacing tweeters with component tweeters - does polarity matter?

OK - so I replaced my footwell speakers with Infinity component speakers a while back. Sounds great.

My car is a 2000 Z3 2.8 with HK system (all stock)

Today I am replacing the door tweeters. Does the polarity of the tweeters matter, and if so how do I know the polarity of the existing tweeters? The wires going to them are red and black.

    Thanks.

The polarity should be the same for all of the speakers. Look at one of the speakers you are not changing and connect the new speakers using the same polarity.
