Impending Convertible Top Issue?

I'm curious if anyone has had this issue and, if so, what problem I might be coming up on (this is an '04 3.0i that I've owned for about 8 months...no previous top issues at all)...

Lately, about every third time I push the button to lower the top the passenger window drops a bit then everything stops. If I release the button then push it again the driver-side window drops and the top comes down fully. Never any issues in the other direction.

Any thoughts are much appreciated.

Reset the anti trap feature on both passenger and driver windows. You can google the procedure.

Not saying this will solve the issue but it’s a good start to identifying the issue.

It's also common that the wiring harness that runs long the drivers side of the top can start to have breaking wires some body's going to have to look into it
