    Speed sensor

    The speed sensor is showing signs of deficiency.
    Question: speed sensor character...Does the sensor simply die, stop working...quits outright . Or does it fluctuate...works periodically?
    This is happening to my 04, 200k BMW X3.
    Cleared the code several times but after a day or so, code returns.

    Replaced the speed sensor a couple days ago...all is well problem corrected in 30 min...didn't take the wheel off . But did use extension to get to the hex... reluctor ring looks good no swelling.
