Car is a 2004 325i 5MT and has 158k miles. Currently attempting to pass CA SMOG, getting closer than before now. Everything else is ready now except the oxygen sensor monitor. Could anyone have an idea? I have a log of the car idling warm after a drive. I replaced MAF with OEM VDO as I had a problem previously another brand. Car has completely no vacuum leaks or SES for the pass 3-4 drive cycles. One thing is the SAP is ticking, but I’m not sure if that would cause the oxygen sensor to show not ready. Any help would be nice!

Are the pre-catalytic converter oxygen sensors original? They need to be changed at 125k miles (I think the oxygen sensors are wide band sensors). Go to www.realoem.com and enter the last 7 characters of your car’s vehicle identification number. Hit enter and bookmark the page. Scroll down to engine electrical and get the part number for the pre-cat sensors. Then google the part number. BMW considers oxygen sensors to be consumables.
Btw you can pass in CA with one test not complete. But replace your o2 sensors as Marco said
In my area the only one that does not need to be set is evap
