Hey All, I own an E46. Its actually an 2000 bmw 323i manual with a welded diff.... The problem is my car started to overheat. I was told to bleed the coolant system. As I was doing just that the bleeder screw broke as I was unscrewing it from the pressure. I then had to pry the rest of the screw out which broke part of the hole off where the bleed screw goes. Ive been looking everywhere for a new piece where the bleeder screw goes. No success. Would it be easy to get a whole new expansion tank?

Yes.

There is only one thing more pleasurable than working on a Z3, that's driving it top down on a fine day.
The installation of aftermarket cooling system parts is strictly verboten. The only brand of expansion tank you want to buy is Modine. At that age you want to replace the bracket on which the expansion tank sits. The installation of aftermarket cooling system parts is strictly verboten. Buy the parts at FCPEuro as everything has a lifetime warranty. At that age you really should completely overhaul the cooling system using original equipment parts.
