If I remember correctly, seatbelts and the airbag systems are covered under BMW Warranty for the life of the vehicle (of course assuming the vehicle hasn't been wrecked or abused)?
We're getting an intermittent warning light about the Supplemental Restraint System on the Pax side. Can I take it to the dealer, no charge or should I prepare my wallet?

I think SRS systems are covered only by the manufacturer’s warranty. Emission systems carry a longer warranty. Call your dealer to confirm.

BMW does not offer a lifetime warranty on seatbelts or SRS system
I recommend finding a reputable independant mechanic instead of the dealer...
