    Horn won't blow

Horn will not blow. I have checked the fuse....20 amp fuse ok. The horn is properly connected .....right now disconnected. (see pics) Everything appears to be ok. Is there anything else to check? Does the airbag have to be put back in place before the horn will blow?

The two horns are accessible behind the PS headlight. I had both die on my M, so that's a possibility. I would test voltage at the connector while pressing the horn button (switch). Perhaps one died a while ago and the 2nd just ate it. That was my experience.

Not that it’s going to be exactly the same but my E46 horn didn’t work and I had to replace the clock spring and all was well.
