Oil Pump and Scavenge tank for bottom mount turbo

Looking to purchase pump, scavenge tank, and lines to drain out oil on a bottom mount turbo setup. This will be used for a e36 328is with spa t4 manifold and precision 62mm.

    PM me.

Shouldn’t a PT 62xx be able to gravity drain from a Spa?

That’s what I thought but I’ve been getting oil in the fmic piping. Started the car and let it idle without a turbo filter. As soon as I started revving it past 5k rpm oil started coming out of the turbo intake.

Are you using a restrictor in the feed line? Is the drain line 5/8”? Did you try venting the drain line?

From research, Prec journal bearing turbos shouldn’t have a restrictor. But yea the drain line is 5/8 but unfortunately it’s not steep enough or long enough to add a tee. I will be doing hpde with this car soon so I want a reliable setup.

Ok. The ideal scavenge system uses a little reservoir box under the turbo. That is what I ran for years when I had a lower manifold that would not allow gravity drain. This is what I had:

Thanks for info. Yea I called Mike and wanted to see if he could fab up the tank and lines for me but the only thing he could do was get me the exa pump. I’ve already purchased an x brace so my plan is to have someone fab up the mount for pump and make the scavenge tank
