1973 2002 Fuel

Hello all,

Any ideas how I can re-prime my fuel system in my 1973 2002? Had to replace an O ring in sender unit, now system has lost prime. How do you pressurize the tank to force fuel to pump? I have mechanical pump. Thank you!

There is no pressurizing the fuel system on a 2002. The cam driven mechanical pump simply starts pulling the fuel from the tank if it's working properly. If its not pulling fuel then either your mechanical pump has gone bad or your line is severely clogged. It's more likely your pump has quit. But it is easy to check.
