Needing to sell this car ASAP due to it taking up space in my driveway. Due to urgency, the car is currently shown in the state I have left it, will have it professionally detailed and cleaned before the car is sold or looked at. Obviously, all shown stickers on the car will be removed before being sold as well.
There are some things wrong with it :
- U-Joint in driveshaft is in bad shape, still drives but there's a vibration when accelerating through 5-10mph & 30-40mph
- Sun roof does not close entirely, unsure if it's a mechanical issue or if the mechanism just needs "reset", taped it up before knowing resetting position was a thing
- Clearcoat is peeling up on the car, mostly around the hood and driver side of the car. Around the sunroof as well due to the tape placed around it.
- Electricals for the diagnostic / mileage screen at the bottom of the cluster have gone out (cluster itself works)
I'm not a mechanic or car enthusiast myself so I cannot vouch personally but I was told by local euro mechanic shops that the engine itself is in great condition.
Brand new tires were put on last fall, new rear suspension was put in early last year as well.
Transmission seems to be in good condition, barring the vibration from the driveshaft it's a smooth ride.
Originally came from California so there is no rust you'd usually expect from cars bought in this area.
Car has been in no accidents since I have owned in, nor do I know of it being in any prior.
